Multi-lingual design engineer and coordinator with 7+ years of successful client relationship, customer service & community building, with public speaking skills. 

Enthusiastic, resourceful and conscientious, I am a solution-oriented engineer who speak five languages from having lived in six countries. After seven years in B2B software customer service and over ten years in international coordination and community building I am used to delivering high quality results, having returning customers, lasting relationships and working in different cultures. I have experience from steel structure design, artistic design, teaching and public speaking.

  • Moved to France on my own, without any job or house lined up, not knowing anyone.
  • Within two years I founded & grew an association to 500 members internationally & created the first Nordic championships & festival with 150 participants from six countries & made it annually recurring, making the organisation internationally renowned & setting the standard worldwide.
  • Trained Kung Fu in Shaolin, China.
  • Had twins + 1 in under two years time.
  • Studied neuroscience at Harvard.
  • Did competitive show jumping with thoroughbred former race horse stallions when I was 14.
  • Travelled : Been up on the hillside of the volcano Merapi two weeks after its eruption. Visited one of the last matriarch societies in the world in the Himalayas. Been to the world’s southernmost city.

Steel Designer
SATIM, Mur de Bretagne, France

Successfully designing 10 high quality structures per year up to 125 tonnes in Tekla Structures, with great attention to detail, working in a team, managing architectural plans & the contact with suppliers & clients. Production of complete design plans & drawings for clients & detail drawings for the factory’s manufacturing process.

2017 – 2019

Adventure Entrepreneur
Self-employed, Silfiac, France

Startup of business in a new country, including project management & putting organisation in place in accordance with research done on French laws. Research of sites and collaborative partners, planning & creation of courses, activities & website. Purchase of material.

2016

Teacher of Physics, Technology & Math
Tappströmsskolan, Ekerö, Sweden.

Through an often innovative approach, teaching full classes of 12-14 year olds theory & practise in physics, mathematics & technology, helping them to develop logic, reasoning & confidence, I was described as being their best & favourite teacher. Planning of courses on my own & in collaboration with colleagues & teaching & follow up on pupils with special needs. Making tests, grading pupils & acting as a mentor.

Designer, Writer & Public Speaker

Analytical writing & development of captivating story lines in storytelling/writing together with marketing and sales of my own illustrations. Publication of all the above in an online magazine, a blog & in podcasts leading up to me being booked to hold a workshop and be a speaker at the Presence : Summit conference in Minnesota, USA.

The work consisted of developing the organisation, keeping international communication & relations with ruling bodies, teachers & members. Chair meetings, set activity goals, create control documents & organise courses with international teachers. Develop solutions for communication & web.

It was likely the world’s first internet based international association and before there were any social media.
